The QuickBooks integration.
Stackporch connects to QuickBooks Online to create and read its own billing records. This page describes what the connection does, what it reaches, and how to switch it off.
What it doesCreates invoices in QuickBooks Online from a scope file rather than by re-typing them, and reads back outstanding invoices so receivables can be aged. It is an internal business tool, not a product sold to customers.
Connecting or reconnectingA connection is created only when an authorised user grants it through Intuit’s own consent screen, and only that user can grant it. Stackporch never asks for, receives, or stores a QuickBooks username or password — access is by revocable authorisation token. To connect or reconnect, run the authorisation step and approve the company on Intuit’s screen, or email josh@stackporch.com and it will be arranged with you.
DisconnectingYou can revoke access at any time, without asking Stackporch. In QuickBooks Online, open Apps → My Apps, find the Stackporch connection and disconnect it. Access ends immediately and the stored authorisation token stops working. You can also email josh@stackporch.com to have the connection removed and the token destroyed.
What is accessedOnly what the function needs: company profile, customers, products and services, income accounts, and invoices. Connected data is never sold, brokered, shared for advertising, or used to train third-party models. Full detail is in the privacy notice.
After disconnectionThe authorisation token is destroyed and no further access is possible. Records already created for accounting purposes, such as an issued invoice, remain in QuickBooks because they are business and tax records — they belong to the QuickBooks company, not to Stackporch.

Disconnecting is done from inside QuickBooks Online and takes effect immediately. Nothing needs to be requested from Stackporch first.
